Legacy Keepers Foundation
We Believe Every Story Deserves to Be Remembered.
At the heart of this foundation is a simple conviction: the voices, memories, and legacies of the people we love should never fade into silence. We are here to keep them alive.

Our Story
Before the stories slip away.
The Legacy Keepers Foundation was founded to ensure that the stories of everyday families — grandparents, elders, parents — are captured, preserved, and passed down before they’re lost forever.
Many families don’t realize how quickly stories disappear after a loved one is gone. We exist to change that.
Our Mission
“To inspire, equip, and support families in preserving the stories, voices, and legacies of the people they love.”
This mission matters because memory is fragile. Every day, stories that could change how a child understands themselves — and their family — disappear quietly and forever. Legacy Keepers Foundation is here to make sure that doesn’t happen on our watch. We offer programs, tools, and community that make preservation simple, meaningful, and lasting.
Our Values
What guides everything we do.
Dignity
Every story deserves to be told with care and respect.
Connection
Legacy lives in the bonds between generations.
Access
Preservation shouldn’t be a privilege — it’s a right for every family.

Why We Started Legacy Keepers
OUR STORY
Legacy Keepers Foundation was born from loss, love, and a simple realization: once a voice is gone, it is gone forever.
For me, it started with my father.
My dad was the person I called whenever something broke, whether it was a machine, a project, or a problem I didn’t know how to solve. He was a fixer. More importantly, he gave others the confidence to become fixers too.
Whenever I faced a challenge that seemed too big, he had a way of making it feel possible.
“We can get it done.”
Those four words carried me through countless projects and difficult moments. They were more than encouragement. They were permission to believe in myself.
When my father passed away, I realized there would be no more phone calls. No more stories. No more advice. No more hearing the confidence in his voice when I wasn’t sure of myself.
What I missed most wasn’t information. It was my father.
I found myself wishing I could hear his voice again. Not a photograph. Not a written memory. His actual voice. His laughter. His stories. His way of turning an ordinary conversation into something you remembered for years.
Then I thought about my sister.
She passed away unexpectedly at a young age. Fortunately, I had saved several of her voicemail messages. Even today, I still listen to them from time to time. Those recordings are priceless to me. They allow me to hear her exactly as I remember her.
But they also remind me of what I don’t have.
I don’t have recordings of my father’s stories about growing up. I don’t have recordings of the lessons he learned through his life. I don’t have a place where his voice, wisdom, and experiences were intentionally preserved for future generations.
That realization became a question:
How many families wish they could hear a parent’s voice one more time?
How many families wish they could hear a parent’s voice one more time?
How many grandchildren would treasure hearing their grandparents tell stories about their childhood?
How much wisdom, family history, humor, faith, resilience, and love disappears every day simply because nobody recorded it?
Legacy Keepers Foundation was created to help answer those questions.
Our mission is to preserve the voices, stories, experiences, values, and life lessons that make every person unique. We believe every life contains wisdom worth saving, and every family deserves the opportunity to preserve the stories that might otherwise be lost forever.
A legacy is more than a name on a family tree.
It is a voice.
A story.
A lesson.
A laugh.
A moment of encouragement.
A piece of wisdom passed from one generation to the next.
A moment that can still inspire generations long after we’re gone.
Legacy Keepers Foundation exists because some things are simply too valuable to lose.
Every voice tells a story.
Every story carries wisdom.
And every family deserves the chance to preserve both before they are gone
“I realized I couldn’t go back and record my father’s stories, but maybe I could help other families preserve the voices and memories they still have.”
“I realized what I missed most wasn’t information. It was hearing his voice.”
Mission Statement
To preserve the voices, stories, and wisdom of generations past so that future generations can learn from them, be inspired by them, and remain connected to the people who helped shape their lives.
“Every voice tells a story. Every story carries wisdom. Every family deserves the chance to preserve both before they are gone.”
Every Story Deserves to Be Told
The stories that shape a family — the laughter, the lessons, the quiet wisdom passed down through the years — deserve to be heard by every generation that follows. Whether you want to learn more about our work, get involved as a volunteer, or simply start a conversation, we are here and we would love to connect with you.
Our Approach
How We Help Families Remember
Legacy Keepers works the way memory works — gently, patiently, and one story at a time. Everything we offer is built around warmth, accessibility, and human connection.
01
We Listen First
Every family’s story is different. We begin by sitting with you — learning what matters most, who needs to be heard, and what you most want to preserve.
02
We Craft Together
Our guides, tools, and coaches work alongside you to capture memories in the format that feels most natural — written, recorded, photographed, or all three.
03
We Preserve for Generations
The result is a living legacy — beautifully organized, safely stored, and ready to be shared with your family for generations to come.
